In 2003, 150 years after the Coppedges came to East
Texas, four of their descendants attended the Dancyville homecoming: Robert Newsom, great
great grandson of W. L. Coppedge; Frank Breazeale and Conrad Coppedge, great grandsons of
Charles Clark Coppedge; and David Williamson, great grandson of Martha Rebecca Coppedge

| A bountiful meal was prepared in the Church
basement, and was enjoyed by everyone who attended. There were tables in the Church
basement and also set up in a tent outside, but these young singers just enjoyed sitting
on the front steps of the church to eat their dinner. They are talking here to the "Texas Delegation". |
