OBITUARY

Kay Graham Schulz Reynolds, resident of the Somerville Community, former resident of the Dancyville Community in Haywood County and wife of the late Robert "Bob" Arthur Reynolds, departed this life Saturday morning, December 17, 2011 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville where she had been a resident for four days. She was 60 years of age and died following an illness of several months.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Reynolds were conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 20th at Dancyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul S. Lore, Sr., pastor of the church officiating. Personal remarks were given by her Uncle and Aunt, Edgar and Joan Graham and stepsons, Dan Reynolds and Bob Reynolds, Jr. Special music was provided by Ben Bruce, Cindy Pattat and Barbara Garnett. Interment followed in the Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Reynolds was born August 29, 1951 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barton Brown Schulz and Mary Graham Schulz, residents of the Dancyville Community for many years before their death. She received her education in the Haywood County Public School Systems and graduated from the Brownsville High School. She received her degree in education from the University of Memphis and was a former teacher at the Brownsville High School in earlier years.

She was also employed by the American Air Filter Corporation in Brownsville and later was a systems analyst for the Price-Cooper & Waterhouse Corporation in Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. Reynolds was the wife of Robert "Bob" Arthur Reynolds, retired accountant, who preceded her in death December 26, 2008. She returned to West Tennessee to care for her mother and had been a resident of Fayette County since 2007. She was a devoted member of the Dancyville United Methodist Church, where she participated in numerous church activities that included Community Bible Study.

An accomplished seamstress, Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed sewing, caring for her home and yard, flowers and gardening. She made few demands of others and always placed the interests of family and friends first. Mrs. Reynolds life was a living testimony to her Christian faith. She will be remembered as a talented woman who left her mark on the lives of many.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by two brothers, Walter Barton Schulz of Cordova, David Graham Schulz of Springfield, SC; two stepsons, Robert Arthur Reynolds, Jr. of Westfield, IN, Daniel Jon Reynolds of Zionsville, IN; a special niece and nephew, Ashley Schulz, Matthew Schulz; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers were David Schulz, Bart Schulz, Edgar Graham, Irwin Graham, Dan Reynolds, Bob Reynolds, Jr., John Cook and Jack Berressem.
