Mr. Jack D. Smith, age 80, passed away at his home in Brownsville, Tennessee, Saturday, March 8, 2009. He was a salesman for Continintal Grain Company, an Army Corp World War II veteran, and a member of Dancyville United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 with Rev. Kyle Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife: Jane Oakes Smith, Brownsville, TN; two sons: David L. Smith and his wife Nancy, Brownsville, TN and Jeffrey O. Smith, KY; one sister: Wilma Smith Moore, Alamo, TN; five granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Phillip Bronfin, Matt Porch, Troy Campbell, Ken Marlar, Bill Foster, Joey Moore.
